Child and Adult Food Care Program
It is our goal to ensure each child’s nutritional well-being. NASA GCDC provides breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Our Food Service Manager stores, prepare and serves food following United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines, Maryland licensing standards, and NAEYC accreditation standards for food and nutrition.
The same meals will be available to all enrolled participants at no separate charge regardless of race, color, sex, age, disability, or national origin. There is no discrimination in admissions policy, meal service, or the use of facilities.
GCDC does not provide tuition credit when families do not participate in the food program.
Following the Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) policy, NASA GCDC is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. To file a complaint of discrimination, write USDA, Director, Office of Civil Rights, 1400 Independence Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20250-9410 or call toll free (800) 795-3272 (voice) or (202) 720-6382 (TTY).
